Best NHL Hockey Teams to Bet on for 2020

The National Hockey League (NHL) may not get quite as much attention outside of the United States as say the NFL or NBA do, but it really should! There are so many sports betting opportunities available in connection with the NHL, and these are something that all sports bettors should be aware of, too. Fortunately, if you want to know a bit more about the best teams to bet on for the remainder of 2020, we’ve got all the necessary details for you.

If you’re just starting to involve yourself in sports betting, it’s imperative to locate a trustworthy online platform to bet at. Many of these exist, although some are better than others. Betwinner is a good one, for example. And what’s good with this one is that there’s the Betwinner app for you to involve yourself with, allowing you to place NHL bets from any location via your mobile device. This is free to download to your smartphone or tablet and it’s easy to use, featuring the same simple navigation options and large range of betting possibilities as the desktop version.

Boston Bruins

The Boston Bruins steamed through their competition last year, and a big part of that was due to David Pastrňák bringing home 30 goals to lead the league. The Czech right winger certainly proved that the Bruins have what it takes to continue competing on the same level, although the beginning of 2020 has only seen him score two goals in his last eight games. That being said, the Boston team have garnered points in nine straight games, making them the admirable team to bet on.

St. Louis Blues

It stands to reason that the Blues are on this list, considering that the team won nine of their last 10 games at the end of 2019. The sole loss on their record came at the hands of New Jersey, but this has done little to blight how impressive they are. It may be looking slightly grim for them at the start of 2020, thanks to a 7-3 loss to the Colorado Avalanche, but in December last year, they stood with a 56-19-11 record in regular season games.

Philadelphia Flyers

This is one team that made quite the serious push for the Metro crown in recent times, winning nine straight towards the end of last year. The 2019 record seems to currently outweigh what has occurred so far in 2020, with the team obtaining a 5-5 in their last 10 outings. Thankfully, Travis Konecny has managed to have quite the breakout season for the Flyers, and so he should. He signed a six-year, $33 million deal last year!

Colorado Avalanche

Colorado stands 8-1-1 in its last 10 games, and that’s a figure that comes even when their amazing goalie Philipp Grubauer is out with an injury. They’re tied with the Toronto Maple Leafs for the most goals scored – 151 altogether. This team is no joke and they’re always prepared to take it to the next level in their games. While some would frequently question their defensive tactics, their record certainly doesn’t leave that in any doubt.
